1. When will I get my letter?

I send out The Cozy Bookwyrms Post on the 5th and 20th of every month. US members should typically receive it within 3-10 days of sending, and international members should receive it within 2-6 weeks. If you sign up before the 5th or the 20th, you will receive the respective Post sent on those dates. If you sign up on those dates or after, your first letter will be the following 5th or 20th.

2. What if I need to cancel or change my address/billing info?

Email me at constance@constancelopez.com and I will end your subscription or change your address. Make sure to email me before the 5th or 20th of the month (whichever is next) so we can adjust your address, or update your payment/subscription before sending!

3. What happens if I don’t receive my letter?

Sometimes the mail can take up to 2 weeks to arrive (6 for international). If your Cozy Bookwyrms Post doesn’t arrive, email me at constance@constancelopez.com and I’ll make it right, either by resending your Post or refunding you for the month. Please review your receipt to confirm your address is correct as that is often the culprit!

The beauty of snail mail is the anticipation of getting something fun in the mail every month, and not knowing quite when it will come... However, sometimes mail does get delayed and even lost. If you have not received your Post within a month of the send date (US), please reach out and we can work out sending you a replacement! :)

4. Is it one story per Post or an ongoing story?

I want to share a longer form story than the number of pages that can fit in one envelope, so each story will be broken up by chapters and span around 12 Posts, or 6 months(there might be some variation in this, based on the story, but that's what I will aim for). This will allow for a story between 50-100 pages. A story long enough to explore and experience some character growth, but short enough that if you want to reread the chapters every month in preparation for the new Post, it won't be a daunting task.

5. What if I sign up in the middle of a story?

If you sign up, for example, before the 5th of Month 3 of a current story, you will automatically receive the four previous chapters via QR code in your Month 3 Post. This is just the story, with no author notes or goodies. Alternatively, you can add the previous Posts to your cart during checkout, and all five(with all their included goodies) will be mailed to you at the same time!

6. Are these stories in the same world as your Book Hoard Collective series? Both the series and your Post use 'Bookwyrms'!

While the first story is from the Book Hoard Collective story world, my using Bookwyrms is not because all the stories will be. Bookwyrms is just a really lovely word to convey that this snail mail club is for readers, especially fantasy readers. The stories I will be writing for The Cozy Bookwyrms Post will range from urban fantasy to secondary world fantasy, and they will usually have a hint (or more) of romance, but they will always be cozy fantasy.

7. Will these stories always be exclusive to The Cozy Bookwyrms Post?

For the time being, any stories written for the Post will stay exclusive to the Post. And while I might decide to change that in the future(I do like having my short stories together like a real book on the shelf), the author's notes and care put into designing each envelope will always be exclusive.
