Deborah Grace White
  • Facebook

Deborah Grace White is an author of YA fantasy and fairy tale retellings who was more or less born reading. She grew up on a wide range of books, from classic literature to light-hearted romps. Her love of fantasy was inevitable from the time her father read the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy to her and her siblings when she was four years old. The love of reading has traveled with her unchanged across multiple continents, and carried her from her own childhood all the way to having children of her own. But if reading is like looking through a window into a magical and beautiful world, beginning to write her own stories was like discovering that she could open that window and climb right out into fantasyland. Now she gets to live that childhood dream from her hometown of Adelaide, Australia, where she lives with her husband and their three little ones.

Celeste Baxendell has always read anything she could get her hands on, but once she read her first fantasy novel, she was hooked and hasn’t looked back since. Her love of magic, adventure, and romance hasn’t waned with age, and she endeavors to write nail-biting stories with compelling, complex characters, and finding light in dark times. She is incredibly blessed to spend her time writing from her favorite chair with her legs curled up under her as she fights the southern heat. When she isn’t writing, she’s either reading, drawing, or sewing, in that order, and most likely thinking about writing as she does.

Angie Grigaliunas (grig-ah-LOO-nahs) is a part-time normal person and full-time author of dystopian/fantasy young adult books. And also some romance. (“She admits it! Murderer!”) She loves Jesus, the woods, and the stars, and has always wanted to be a superhero with a secret identity. She has completed five books: one about elves that needs a massive revision before it ever sees the light of day, one that is part of her current story but also needs a massive revision to fit a new storyline, the actual first and second books (Sowing and Quelling) in her dystopian/fantasy series (The Purification Era), and the first of a companion trilogy set in the same world as The Purification Era. When she’s not writing, she’s usually Facebooking -— ack! — or thinking about story stuff. Or exercising. Or eating ice cream, because life is short and ice cream is delicious. Despite several of her writing friends once claiming she’s surely Canadian, she is not; a native to Ohio, she now lives in Tennessee with her dear husband, their goofy dog, and their small army of rescue cats.

Alora Carter

Author Alora Carter is a native Coloradan sun-child who would rather be lost in a forest than adulting. She has two vibrant littles and a handsome viking-esque husband, as well as a spinning Doberman, a cranky old Jack Russell and four-foot corn snake named Sancho. Currently thriving in the lake lands of the mid-west, she finds herself through writing fantasy that sprinkles in cool science alongside themes of endurance in hardship, love conquers all, found family and growing the hidden potential in us all. She began writing amidst the Pandemic in fall of 2021 and finished May 2022 with her first draft. Working nearly full-time and mothering full-time means she sneaks in minutes and hours to write and work on the next novel. She works in Science and Medicine and is a teacher at heart. She loves the imaginative human soul and hopes someone learns some amazing facts along the way. To combine her love of science with her love of writing and reading is a dream come true.

Constance Lopez

Constance Lopez knows magic is real. Dragons, faeries… and don’t even get her started on unicorns. She grew up having epic duels in the woods with her siblings, and nature is still one of her favorite places to be. If she isn’t out there working on her stories, she’s dragging her children and husband on adventures (they always enjoy it once they’re outside). Except in summer. For those months she hides inside, because Texas heat is real and it hates her. Books have always been her haven and inspiration, and now she writes her own noblebright and romantic stories, hoping to pass those feelings along to others. Fantasy, of course. Because everything is better with magic.
