Meet the Authors
Eight authors: all committed to great storytelling, clean romance, and happily ever afters.
Melanie Cellier
Melanie Cellier grew up on a staple diet of books, books and more books. And although she got older, she never stopped loving children’s and young adult novels. She always wanted to write one herself, but it took three careers and three different continents before she actually managed it. She now feels incredibly fortunate to spend her time writing from her home in Adelaide, Australia where she keeps an eye out for koalas in her backyard. Her staple diet hasn’t changed much, although she’s added choc mint Rooibos tea and kdramas to the list. She writes young adult fantasy including books in her Spoken Mage world, her Mage’s Influence world, and her Four Kingdoms and Kingdoms of Legacy fairy tale worlds.
Celeste Baxendell
Celeste Baxendell has always read anything she could get her hands on, but once she read her first fantasy novel, she was hooked and hasn’t looked back since. Her love of magic, adventure, and romance hasn’t waned with age, and she endeavors to write devastatingly romantic stories with compelling, complex characters, and finding light in dark times. She is incredibly blessed to spend her time writing from her favorite chair with her legs curled up under her as she fights the southern heat. When she isn’t writing, she’s either reading, drawing, or sewing, in that order, and most likely thinking about writing as she does.
Alice Ivinya
Alice is a USA Today Bestselling author. She lives in Bristol, England, and works as a small animal vet for a charity. She is wife to Sam, mummy to Nathan and owns the best dog in the world, Summer. She has loved fantasy all her life and is currently writing three fairytale retellings. When she's not off gallivanting in other worlds, she loves walking the dog and spending time with her church family.
Tara Grayce
Tara Grayce writes romantic fantasy filled with lots of humor, spunky leading ladies, and broken heroes. She is a lifelong fantasy geek with a growing collection of swords, a few cosplay costumes in her closet, and a Narnia-themed guest bedroom (aka Spare Oom). When she isn’t drinking tea and writing about elves, she’s renovating her hundred-year-old farmhouse and spending time with her chocolate lab mutt Miss Kisses.
Constance Lopez
Constance Lopez knows magic is real. Dragons, faeries… and don’t even get her started on unicorns. She grew up having epic duels in the woods with her siblings, and nature is still one of her favorite places to be. If she isn’t out there working on her stories, she’s dragging her children and husband on adventures (they always enjoy it once they’re outside). Except in summer. For those months she hides inside, because Texas heat is real and it hates her. Books have always been her haven and inspiration, and now she writes her own stories, hoping to pass those feelings along to others. Romantic fantasy, of course. Because everything is better with magic and love.
Alora Carter
Author Alora Carter is a native Coloradan sun-child who would rather be lost in a forest than adulting. She has two vibrant littles and a handsome viking-esque husband, as well as a spinning Doberman, a cranky old Jack Russell and four-foot corn snake named Sancho. Currently thriving in the lake lands of the mid-west, she finds herself through writing fantasy that sprinkles in cool science alongside themes of endurance in hardship, love conquers all, found family and growing the hidden potential in us all. She began writing amidst the Pandemic in fall of 2021 and finished May 2022 with her first draft. Working nearly full-time and mothering full-time means she sneaks in minutes and hours to write and work on the next novel. She works in Science and Medicine and is a teacher at heart. She loves the imaginative human soul and hopes someone learns some amazing facts along the way. To combine her love of science with her love of writing and reading is a dream come true.
Selina R. Gonzalez
Selina R. Gonzalez is a Colorado local with mountains in her blood and dreams that top 14,000 feet. She loves swords, fantasy, costumes, bread, history, castles, superheroes, things that sparkle, snark, dogs, dragons, and Jesus—not in that order. She writes medieval-inspired fantasy with swoon but no on-page spice. She loves writing about relationships—platonic, familial, and romantic—and her books center healthy romances founded on mutual values, trust, and respect between imperfect people who make mistakes but always strive to grow.
Deborah Grace White
Deborah Grace White is an author of YA fantasy and fairy tale retellings who was more or less born reading. Her love of fantasy has traveled with her unchanged across multiple continents, and carried her from her own childhood all the way to having children of her own. Now she gets to live the dream of creating magic through words from her hometown of Adelaide, Australia, where she lives with her husband and their four little ones.
